Gambling Legalization in Texas

Texas is rushing into the casino gaming with bigger and better ideas. The gaming expansion is clearly visible as people are excited. The State is suffering from huge losses, so it’s time now to introduce Gambling in Texas.

State taxes cannot be increased as it would hamper economic growth and reduce jobs. Something must be done immediately to balance the budget and surely tough decisions have to be made. Let’s face it! Texas is suffering a shortfall of $11 billion dollars without taxes.

Gambling legalization will surely allow the States to fight the economic pitfalls as it would help earn greater revenue. Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kansas, Maryland all expanded their gaming horizon recently. Why not Texas?

Its expected Texas Gaming Association (TGA) will support the legislation and will develop a framework for the destination resort casinos in the State of Texas. Texas gambling will not only allow greater gaming opportunities throughout the State but create more exposure, more job facilities, and more entertainment and dining as one witness in Las Vegas.

At least 8 resort casinos are mentioned in the bill and dense cities like Dallas and Houston will be the perfect destination for gambling in Texas. Even Galveston and South Padre Island are taken into consideration. Tax revenue after gambling legalization is estimated to reach $4.5 billion.  Experts predict introducing electronic gaming facilities in racetracks could push the annual revenue to $1 billion, and that would even turn fortunes of the struggling horse racing industry.

Let’s hope for the best! Lot of bucks is what Texas need right now!
