World Series of Poker 2011

As expected, this year the World Series of Poker was lively and electrifying with immense enthusiasm from die-hard poker fans. The final event was arranged at the Caesars Palace casino hall and the series had its share of ups and downs. It was Brian Ali who took away the ultimate prize after surviving a great duel, pocketing away with a cash amount of $633,111. Surely it was a moment to cherish!

Given the huge turn-up of players and prizes, it’s evident that the popularity of this poker championship has soared immensely. Last year, the event witnessed players occupying the front seat. Everyone expected Brian Ali to win the event and surely it was a moment of pride. His performance was worth mentionable because he played aggressively defeating most of his opponents. The 3 days event consisting different rounds was vital for the final day play-off. Brian Ali not only succeeded in this, but other events as well, as he was placed in the 15th position in circuit event held on 5th March 2011 at Deepstake. He won $19,627 in cash.

World Series of poker or WSOP is dream come true for many players to win handsome amounts. The second place in this event was captured by John Andress who won $86,071. Experts believe the cool attitude of John worked wonders as he went on to secure a position among the toppers. The fight between John and Ali was exciting, and Ali won it 5 to 2 chip. For some moment it was evenly placed between the two warriors, but eventually Ali snatched it away.
